"After I read about the restaurant in the paper, I was eager to try it. After going once, I have brought family and friends and recommended it to many people. All have raved about it, as we do!  What a great dining experience!"  --Linda Pledger
"Your food served at lunch and dinner was the best I’ve had in Little Rock and moderately priced. The osso bucco was the best ever. You also changed an entrée for my friend to satisfy her tastes. It is obvious that the chef has been trained in very fine schools and restaurants. I tell everyone I know about your restaurant as I feel you are an asset to our city. The service was outstanding, too. The wine selection was good and priced fairly."  --Barbara Allen
"Little Rock's best date place. Great atmosphere... fantastic service... and unbelievably good food. I'd love this place even if my art wasn't hanging on the walls!"
--Jeannie Clifton
"I love to eat at Starving Artist; it is wonderful.  I especially love the pasta dishes.  Keep up the good work!!!" --Rhonda Stroud
"The food/art/atmosphere is great-nice but not too posh. My only suggestion would be some pasta dishes that are veggie or vegan as well as more soups safefor veg-heads! Thanks for the excellent food and service!" --Marnie Barrett

"This is the best in Little Rock, my husband and another couple happened upon this place Saturday night a few weeks ago and loved it.  The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great!  My husbands daughters were visiting last weekend and we took our family for dinner, it was once again wonderful.  Sarah his daughter whom lives in San Fransisco whose husband is a French chef, raved about the food.   My husband wanted to return Saturday night but they had a private function and were closed for the evening.  We will be back soon, can't wait to see what's on the menu next!"

Recently I enjoyed a lovely evening dining at the Starving Artist with a guest from New York as well as a few members of Pen Women and their husbands. The food was delicious. In fact it was the best I have had in Little Rock this summer.  The guest from New York thought it was very good, too.  I plan to go back soon and take my husband with me.  --Margaret Thompson
I’ve been to the Starving Artist Café once for lunch and once for supper and enjoyed the experience each time. I look forward to coming back again and will recommend it my friends.  ----Shirley Schuette

Starving Artist Cafe is our absolute favorite new place.  The food is excellent, the wait staff is friendly and professional.  The atmosphere is perfect and when asked to recommend a good place to dine -- our answer is always the same - Starving Artist Cafe!  Looking forward to our next visit

I was surprised how much better tuna is when it is cooked medium rare, just like I used to like my steaks--back when you could buy good ones. A big improvement over "done through" which turn out too dry and hard. Strawberry crepes exercise a strong magnetic pull for me. I also appreciate that I can get delicious veggies and entrees that aren't fried or otherwise fat enhanced so I can enjoy without feeling guilty.  --Gale Gill
